Weekly Shonen Jump to Publish Kishimoto 1-Shot

Viz Media released a four-page preview of Masashi Kishimoto’s Mario one-shot manga in the April 29 volume of the Weekly Shonen Jump digital anthology.

The entire one-shot will be published in Weekly Shonen Jump‘s next issue, which will be released on May 13, 2013.

Viz Media Announces Weekly Shonen Jump Newsstand App

Viz Media has released the Weekly Shonen Jump Newsstand App, which is available for the Apple iPad and iPad Mini. New issues of the weekly publication are available on Mondays, and subscriptions are available through the Newsstand App for $2.99 (US/CAN) a month, with automatic monthly renewals.

Weekly Shonen Jump Newsstand subscribers may also access their issues through the Viz Manga digital platform.

Weekly Shonen Jump to Publish Iwashiro One-Shot

Viz Media announced in the March 25, 2013 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump that it will be publishing a one-shot by manga creator Toshiaki Iwashiro that is tentatively titled, Sakuran.

The one-shot is scheduled to appear in the April 1, 2013 edition of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Weekly Shonen Jump Adding World Trigger Manga

Viz Media announced in the February 4 issue of Weekly Shonen Jump that the digital anthology will be adding Daisuke Ashihara’s World Trigger manga.

World Trigger will begin appearing in the February 11 edition of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Viz’s Weekly Shonen Jump Adding Full-Color Dragon Ball Manga

Viz Media announced in the January 28 edition of its Weekly Shonen Jump digital anthology that it will be adding the full-color version of the Dragon Ball manga with the magazine’s next issue on February 4, 2013. The magazine will start with chapter 195, which is the beginning of the Dragon Ball Z manga and the start of the Saiyan arc.

Viz Media also added that the full-color Dragon Ball manga will not be the last manga that it adds to the Weekly Shonen Jump lineup.
