Bleach Is the Top-Selling Manga in the U.S. for June 2012

Bleach Volume 40 was the top-selling manga in the United States for June 2012; it ranked at number six on Nielsen BookScan’s list of top 20 graphic novels in American bookstores for June 2012.

The following manga also charted on the Nielsen BookScan list for June 2012: Bleach Volume 41 (#7), Black Bird Volume 14 (#8), Naruto Volume 56 (#10), Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Volume 1 (#14), Sailor Moon Volume 5 (#17), and Alice in the Country of Clover: Bloody Twins (#19).

The BookScan rankings include sales from Barnes & Noble and other book chains, independent bookshops, and online purchases. However, sales at comic book stores, Walmart, and other venues are not included.
